When I first saw Harmony of the Seas docked next to the Norwegian Epic in Barcelona, my first impression was WOW!!! I knew we were about to have a fantastic time. I couldn’t comprehend the ship’s size until I was standing on the Royal Promenade. Because the ship was so wide, I didn’t know if I was were standing on a cruise ship, in the lobby of a fine hotel, or a super modern shopping mall, but wherever I was, I was impressed.
ROYAL PROMENADE (Looking Forward)

BOARDING
We flew from Paris to Barcelona the morning of embarkation day, June 26th. We purchased our air thru Royal Caribbean, as well as our transfers to the ship, checked in for the cruise at the airport in a small group of about 35 passengers, it was quick and easy. Our travel documents were reviewed, luggage checked thru to our cabin, and our sea passes activated. The only thing left was a short bus ride from the airport to the pier, and walk on the ship.
LUNCH – Park Cafe

We ate lunch at the Park Cafe, as the Windjammer was too crowded. Park Cafe has a simple menu, a variety of sandwiches, soups, salads, deserts, and a carving station. There isn’t a lot of seating available, maybe seating for about 80 people, give or take, it took a few minutes to find seating. This became our post-excursion/pre-dinner eatery!
QUICK SHIP TOUR (The Boardwalk)

After lunch we took a very quick ship tower before the lifeboat drill, we went down two flights of stairs from Central Park on Deck 8 to the Boardwalk on Deck 6. We saw Starbucks and Johnny Rockets, which we would frequent over the course of the week.
CABIN
Cabin 6650 is a standard Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony; it and cabin 6652 are located between two Grand Suites and four Junior Suites, which may explain the truly exceptional service by the cabin steward. It also has a slightly larger balcony than most other Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balconies. Great appointments and use of space,

Cabin 6650 is centrally located to Entertainment Place, the Royal Promenade, the Boardwalk, and Central Park, granting quick access to some of the most visited areas of the ship.
